Nativ is a challenging academic gap year program for Jewish high school graduates dedicated to creating and inspiring the Conservative Jewish leaders of tomorrow. Nativ, which means “path” in Hebrew, provides a unique opportunity to explore new directions on the journey to becoming a Jewish adult.
From September to May Nativ participants are immersed in the rich and diverse society of Israel, exploring the land and enjoying a fulfilling Conservative Jewish lifestyle.
“I can easily say, the day I decided to go on Nativ, was the day I made the best decision in my life. Nativ gave me the passion to stand up, the courage to take action, and the tools to know how to do so. Thanks to Nativ, I found my passion in life. The year I spent on Nativ was the best year of my life. That’s why Nativ. Because it is a truly life-altering, passion-finding, moment-making year.”
